So let me begin with this, Cypress and surrounding areas have a donut shop on every corner. I normally would not review a donut shop but this place stuck out to myself and my husband. We ordered a variety of items and quite honestly were blown away. I ordered a sausage and cheese kolache. There is a finesse to get kolaches right, there needs to be an equal amount of dough to amount of filling inside. Homie Donuts has the ratio down pat.<\/p>\n

My husband has a sweet tooth in the morning and ordered a chocolate glazed donut. No big deal right? Not so my friends, this donut and the extra donut holes she (the owner) gave us gratis. the donuts were light and airy, not greasy at all! that is the problem with most donut shops, after eating one donut you feel your cholesterol has just jumped by 50%. Again, I don’t normally review donut shops.<\/p>\n
So here is the star of the show a deep fried croissant. I have never heard of such a thing, let alone tasted this particular item. it was AMAZING! Again, not greasy, crispy and flaky on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. Total decadence. and definitely in my opinion a must to try this<\/p>\n
