I have my own personal favorite Italian restaurant in Cypress. I do however, try other Italian joints as measure of why I enjoy my favorite restaurant so much.
My husband and myself arrived a little early to avoid the usual Friday night crowd. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our drinks were provided quickly. So far so good. We ordered promptly. I ordered minstrone soup as my starter. My husband ordered a caesar salad. My soup was a very traditional minestrone soup. However, lacked salt and additional spices that a really good soup requires. My husband’s salad also suffered the same fate. It was just plain bland.
On to our entrees. I ordered the manicotti. My husband the chicken artichoke. Both were fair portions however, really quite pricey for what they were. The most unfortunate thing however; was they both were bland, bland, bland. No amount of salt or pepper could revive either meal. They both were DOA.
In conclusion, both myself and my husband had an unacceptable experience, and quite a pricey one. I for one will stick to my favorite Italian restaurant.
