Spring is here, so I thought some of my fellow foodies might like to see just a portion of food centered events. Many of these food festivals are really family friendly with all kinds of things to do for the kiddos.

1st Fajita Fest

7th Annual West Houston Food Truck Festival
Sunday April 28th 12 – 4p.m.

Admission: $8.00 per adults, kiddos 12 and under will be free.
In addition to food truck fare, bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist, DJ, and a strolling magician. In addition to the lineup will be the Houston Swat Team, and a petting zoo. Proceeds will go to local charities as well as the Houston Food Bank. Definitely a family friendly event.

First Annual Taste Of Memorial City Food & Wine Festival

This event will highlight the best of Memorial City’s culinary scene.There will be 25+ restaurants, chefs, winemakers and breweries. Featured will be signature bites, wine, beer, and spirits. There also will be a culinary market, chef demonstrations, and live music.
*Guests opting for the VIP experience will be afforded early entry, access to the VIP lounge and demonstrations from chefs, tasting sessions with winemakers and brew masters. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Memorial Assistance Ministries.

Tomball Freight Train Food Truck Festival

Tomball is synonymous for fun. Twenty four of the finest gourmet food trucks in southeast Texas will be attending the event. The Pour Patio will be open for wine and craft beers. Live music will be played all day, and a Kid Zone will be available.
